About the Event
February 11th we are excited to host three talented musicians from our community: Kansas-Lee, Bianca Berkland, and Lou Lou Morneau.
Kansas-Lee is a soulful folky singer/songwriter from Osoyoos with a dynamic voice and engaging presence. She’s spent the last 10 years writing, recording, and touring, playing shows and festivals across Canada and more recently, England and Spain. Always delivering an intimate experience through guitar and voice, she is currently working on a new album and expects it to be her best work yet.
Bianca Berkland is an exceptionally gifted, modern jazz and soul singer and pianist, based out of Oliver, BC. Her nostalgic sound compares to the likes of Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones. Her single ‘Black Bird’ was a semi-finalist in an international song-writing competition! With imaginative and honest lyrics, and a unique take on traditional jazz vocals, the music of Bianca Berkland is one of those rare finds we’re all seeking.
Funny and jazzy, Lou Lou Morneau loves art and music! If you do too, come on out to enjoy this night of live, local music!
