Greg Rekus

With most of our lives revolving around somewhat of a new normal, live music is back!  Greg Rekus hasn’t wasted a second, and already has almost 100 shows under his belt in 2022.  Between a January tour and a Spring tour, Greg has visited the west and east coast of the USA, Canada, and several European countries to play his unique brand of folk punk goodness.  After a short hiatus this summer, Rekus is hitting the road again in the fall for a giant loop around North America.  

Rekus’s passion for music is bursting at the seams. It is the driving force that keeps him constantly on the road, and cranking out album after album of folk punk goodness. During live performances, audiences are treated to an entertainer who treats the stage as his home. With high energy and infectious enthusiasm, Rekus has a natural ability to engage with a diverse assortment of crowds from around the world. His lyrics speak to common experiences, such as drinking in a favourite hometown bar, or the simultaneous joy and heartache of falling in love, but also do not shy away from making pointed political commentary, coloured with the anger and frustration that comes along with it. Delivering each line with a force that is rivaled by few other solo artists, Rekus emphasizes his words with every strum of his guitar, pounding the beat out on his custom-built stomp box. Paige Beller

These days, most musicians claim to listen to be influenced by “everything”. Rarely will you find someone who truly practices that adage like Paige Beller. Walk into any of the multiple music venues/bars known for music in the Miami Valley and mention the name “Paige”, odds are, you will find yourself amid musicians who have worked with, or are hoping to work with her soon.

Paige Beller is a self-taught musician (guitar, bass & drums) and songwriter from Cincinnati. In 2006, she moved to Dayton and quickly fell in love with the local music scene which embraced her with open arms. You can find Paige all over the Miami Valley in one of her bands, or at an open mic, bluegrass jam, hip hop night, punk show. In other words, she is out there exploring the rich music scene that so many take for granted. It’s also likely that you may have seen her at the following events: Ladyfest Dayton, Such a Night: A Celebration of The Band’s Last Waltz, Dayton Music Fest, Urban Nights or heard her on Kaleidoscope on WYSO.

Paige is currently working as a full-time musician. While staying close to her Dayton roots, she is also expanding her home base by adding regular shows and open mic appearances throughout the Midwest, focusing first on Columbus and Cincinnati and then continuing to branch out from those cities.
